Terms of Service (Singapore)

These terms are the agreement between you and Job Search Bot Service, operated by JOBSEARCHBOT.APP (UEN 53533368D), a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). By signing up for a free trial or a paid plan you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Notice.

1. What the service is

Job Search Bot is a software service for individual jobseekers. Each weekday it searches publicly listed jobs on third-party job boards, scores each role against the profile and résumé you give us, and emails you a digest. Depending on your plan, it also:

Scout: gives you the daily digest and a log of every role in your own Google Sheet.
Apply Assistant: adds, for roles you mark Apply, a draft cover letter written from your verified achievements, a skill-gap analysis, an ATS keyword match score, and suggestions for tailoring your résumé.
Autopilot: adds LinkedIn roles, a link from the email to the job posting, likely interview questions, a tailored résumé for each role (PDF and Word), and a browser extension that helps fill in application forms. The extension is in early access.

The plans and their prices in Singapore dollars are on our Singapore page. We may add or improve features. If we remove a feature from your plan, we will tell you by email first.

2. What the service is not

We are not an employment agency or recruiter. We do not place you with employers, introduce or recommend you to any employer, or contact any employer for you.
You apply yourself. We never submit an application on your behalf. You review every cover letter and every form field and press Submit yourself.
We cannot promise results. We do not promise interviews, offers, or that you will find a job, or how many suitable roles we find.

3. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information, and only a résumé you have the right to share.
Check everything before you send it. Cover letters, résumé suggestions and form answers are produced with AI and can contain mistakes. You are responsible for what you send to an employer. Do not claim anything about yourself that is not true.
Use an email address that is linked to a Google account, because your job log is a Google Sheet shared with that address.
Keep your emails and the extension to yourself. Do not share your account, resell the service, or try to copy or reverse-engineer it.

4. Free trial

Every new customer starts on a free 5-day trial. No card is needed. When the trial ends, the service stops unless you choose a plan and pay.

5. Plans, payment and renewal

Prices are in Singapore dollars per month and are shown on our Singapore page.
You pay by PayNow, using the payment reference we give you. We do not take card details.
Each payment covers the next 32 days of your plan. There is no automatic charge. If you do not pay when a period ends, your service pauses that day.
We will tell you by email at least 14 days before a price change affects you. You can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to job.search.bot.svc@gmail.com. The service stops the same day. Your Google Sheet and the data in it remain yours. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except as set out in section 7.

7. Refunds

First paid month: if you ask within 7 days of your first payment, we will refund that payment in full by PayNow.
Later months: payments are not refundable, except as set out below.
If we fail you: if we stop providing your plan for a substantial part of a paid period for a reason within our control, we will refund or extend that period.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be excluded.

8. Your data

How we collect, use and protect your personal data is set out in our Privacy Notice. In short: we use your data only to run your service, we do not sell it, and we do not send it to employers. We keep your data for 60 days after your subscription ends, or delete it sooner if you ask.

9. Third-party job boards, LinkedIn and the extension

Job listings come from third-party job boards such as Indeed, MyCareersFuture, JobStreet and LinkedIn. We do not control them. Listings may be wrong, out of date, or removed, and a board may change or block access at any time.
The browser extension runs in your own browser, on your own accounts, and fills in forms for you to review. We never see or store your LinkedIn or other board passwords.
Job boards have their own terms, and some limit automated tools. You use the extension, and any board, at your own risk and subject to that board's rules. We cannot promise that a board will not restrict your account.

10. Availability

We aim to run every weekday but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Outages of our providers, job boards or email can delay or stop a digest.

11. Suspension and ending the service

We may suspend or end your service if you do not pay, break these terms, or misuse the service. We may also end the service with at least 7 days' notice. If we end it for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

12. Limit of our responsibility

We are not responsible for lost opportunities, an employer's decision, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Our total responsibility to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will put the new version on this page with a new date, and email you about a material change. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it. If you do not agree, you can cancel under section 6.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute.
